After a week off the LA Chargers are finally back in action in the team's first primetime game of the season. The Chargers host the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football in a game that both teams desperately need to win.

A win for the Chargers would push them to 3-2 on the season and would help start some momentum after the bye week. A win for the Cowboys would instantly rinse out the nasty taste from Week 5 where the San Francisco 49ers absolutely destroyed them.

If anything, it is primed to be an entertaining game. Both the Chargers and Cowboys tend to play very entertaining games and there is a narrative through-line with Chargers offensive coordinator Kellen Moore.

When the dust settles, though, there are several Chargers that will likely stand out as they are set up perfectly to have a dominant showing on primetime against America's Team.

3 Chargers who are set up to dominate the Cowboys:

1. Austin Ekeler

Austin Ekeler is playing for the first time since Week 1 and it should be a great game for the touchdown machine. Dallas has a solid defense but the one hole in the armor that the Chargers can expose is the team's run defense.

Dallas ranks 21st in the league in rushing yards allowed and 24th in rushing yards per carry. That bodes well for Ekeler and the rest of the running back room, which is undoubtedly going to get a jolt from having its leader back.

This might end up looking a lot like the Miami game in Week 1. Justin Herbert is without Mike Williams and may also be without Joshua Palmer, who was surprisingly added to the injury report on Sunday. With Dallas' great pass rush, the Chargers will likely lean on Ekeler both in the running game and as a pass-catcher.
