The LA Chargers have their first regular-season game in front of fans in Week 2 of the 2021 NFL season against the Dallas Cowboys. However, there is a worrisome chance that it won't look like a home game with the influx of Dallas fans in the LA area.

Regardless, the Chargers have to feel good after opening the season with a win on the road against the tough Washington Football Team. Meanwhile, Dallas is coming off of a hard-fought loss against the defending Super Bowl Champions.

Dallas does have three days of rest advantage in this game, which does play an overlooked role. However, they are also on the road and have to be in three different cities in a 10-day span. The Chargers get to return home and stay home. That all makes an impact.

For what it is worth, I went 2-0 in Week 1. I picked Chargers as a pick'em (line closed at Washington -2) and under 44.5 points.

Chargers vs Cowboys Odds Week 2:

The Week 2 betting odds on WynnBET have the Chargers as three-point favorites at home with a point total set at 55 points. The Bolts are -160 favorites against the moneyline while Dallas is -135 underdogs. There is more juice on the over at -115, while the under is sitting at -105.

Chargers vs Cowboys Prediction Week 2:

This is a tough game to pick as I want to be a homer and pick the Chargers to win this game but there are factors to consider. Dallas is going to have a home-like crowd, which makes a difference, and the extra days of rest certainly make a difference as well.

That being said, despite only scoring 20 points against Washington the Chargers offense was humming and easily could have scored 30 points. Could've would've should've but if they did that against Washington then just imagine what they can do against Dallas.

And while Dallas is certainly dangerous and should not be overlooked, I do think the Chargers offense is more explosive and athletic than Tampa Bay's defense. This is especially true considering Dallas is missing its right tackle and Joey Bosa will be able to feast.

I would be weary in picking the Chargers against the spread if it was four points or more. However, at three points, I am willing to take the Chargers.

My picks this week are Chargers -3 and OVER 55.0 points. That is a huge total but it does not scare me. This is going to be a high-scoring contest.

When it is all said and done, I think the LA Chargers walk away with a 34-28 victory.
