4. Rashawn Slater
Rashawn Slater is now the leader of this offensive line, so I'll point him out specifically. Harbaugh is going to turn this entire offensive line around, though.
This is a super talented group that just could not get its act together last season when Corey Linsley went down. Even Slater had a handful of bad games mixed in there.
This Chargers offense is ultimately going to move through the play of the offensive line. When you give Justin Herbert time to throw, regardless of who's out there to throw to, he's going to excel. It's been proven time and time again- case in-point, the Lions game this year. Even if it's just a half second more than usual, Justin is always going to make use of that time.
We need more time for Justin and we need a complete overhaul of the run game, which has been one of the worst in football the past couple of years.
Harbaugh's M.O. is toughness that starts up front in the trenches. I'll be utterly shocked if this group, led by Rashawn Slater, is not a top ten O-line in football at the very least next season.
