4) Chargers at Broncos

Yes, I know Russell Wilson has fallen off.

Yes, the Broncos have a lot of catching up to do in 2023 if they want to make themselves playoff hopefuls for the first time since their Super Bowl year in 2015.

But it always seems to me that the Chargers lose to these guys when they play them in Denver. They've won the last 4-straight games at Mile High and they're also 9-1 in the last 10 times the Chargers have gone up there.

Maybe the Bolts get lucky and Russ solidifies his "washedness" in 2023, but I'm willing to bet this is going to be a very tough test, especially assuming they'll be favorites in the matchup. This is not something I'm totally thrilled about since the Chargers seem to play better in the underdog role.

Justin has had mixed results against the Broncos in the past- 10 touchdowns to 5 interceptions with a passer rating of 89.2.

The game LA won last year was a rocky performance for Hebert and then of course the Chargers lost in the final week of the year when Staley foolishly played all the starters.

As bad as the Broncos are/have been, they gave the team a run for its money last season. They will again this season in all likelihood.
