Day 1 of the 2023 NFL Draft is officially in the books and the LA Chargers selected Quentin Johnston with the 21st overall pick. There was a lot of speculation about who the Chargers may pick at 21 heading into the draft and now Chargers fans have their answer.

While day 1 is the most important date and the most watched of the NFL Draft, there are still two more days of action for Chargers fans to tune in for. Day 2 of the 2023 NFL Draft starts at 4 p.m. PDT on Friday and can bring talented players into the fold that can turn into Pro Bowlers.

Let's dive into the second day of the 2023 NFL Draft. Here is everything you need to know as a Chargers fan when it comes to Friday's festivities.

How many picks do the Chargers have on day 2 of the 2023 NFL Draft?

Day 2 of the 2023 NFL Draft will consist of the second and third rounds. As it stands right now, the Chargers will have two picks on day 2 with a pick in both the second and third round.

Los Angeles has the 54th overall pick (23rd pick in the second round) and 85th overall pick (22nd pick in the third round). Those selections are by no means set in stone, though, as the Chargers could move up or down during the draft itself depending on how the board shakes out.

What time will the Chargers be on the clock on day 2 of the 2023 NFL Draft?

It is hard to pinpoint an exact time that the Chargers will be making their selections as there are a lot of variables. What we do know is that each team will have seven minutes when they are on the clock to make their selection.

Last year, the Kansas City Chiefs made the 54th pick in the 2022 NFL Draft at 5:50 p.m. PDT, an hour and 50 minutes after day 2 started. The Patriots made the 85th pick around 7:35, two hours and 35 minutes after day 2 started.

Therefore, it is a safe estimation that the Chargers will make their selections on day 2 around 5:45 p.m. PDT and 7:30 p.m. PDT. I would tune in at 5:30 p.m. PDT and 7:15 p.m. PDT to be safe if you want to see the pick but don't want to watch the entire draft.
