Bears vs. Chargers prop bets
- Justin Herbert OVER 263.5 passing yards
- Tyson Bagent UNDER 197.5 passing yards
- Keenan Allen OVER 7.5 receptions
Justin Herbert OVER 263.5 passing yards
Justin Herbert is poised to have a field day against the Chicago Bears on Sunday night. After a tough schedule to start the season, Herbert now gets to face an abysmal Bears secondary that ranks 27th in opponent yards per pass attempt, giving up 7.1 yards per throw.
If there's any team he's going to go over his passing yards total against, it's the Bears.
Tyson Bagent UNDER 197.5 passing yards
Tyson Bagent may have looked impressed in his first start against the Raiders, but he still only threw for 162 yards, which is 35 yards fewer than his set total for the upcoming game. Not only that, but he's going to have to play under the bright lights of Sunday Night Football in Los Angeles. That's a lot to ask of an undrafted rookie out of Sheperd University.
I think he has a rough night and I'll gladly take the UNDER on his passing yards total of 197.5.
Keenan Allen OVER 7.5 receptions
Few teams allow as many completed passes per game as the Chicago Bears. They're 26th in the NFL in opponent completions per game, giving up 24.9. That means all of the Chargers' receivers are in a good spot to go over their receptions total. That could be especially true for Keenan Allen with Joshua Palmer listed as questionable for the game.
Allen is averaging 7.7 receptions per game this season. Considering the Bears abysmal defense, I'll jump all over him hauling in at least eight at plus-money.
