The LA Chargers escaped a 2-5 start to the season by comfortably beating the Chicago Bears on Sunday Night Football. This was a very impactful win for the Bolts as it saved Brandon Staley's job and kept the Bolts in striking distance to make a playoff run.

Los Angeles still has a lot of work to do with a 3-4 record but at least the team is still somewhat in the hunt. A 2-5 record with a loss against the Bears of all teams would have completely derailed the season.

Some of the work the Chargers may have to do is on the trade market. While Tom Telesco has only made one in-season trade for talent as a GM, this is a team that very obviously could use a boost. With the deadline on Halloween, it is time to make a move. Thankfully, the Chargers got an up-close look at a team that should be selling.

WR Darnell Mooney

It did not take long for Darnell Mooney to make his presence felt in the Sunday Night Football matchup. Mooney hauled in a massive reception on the first drive of the game despite getting interfered. If it wasn't for the referees blowing the play dead, Mooney would have had another 20+ yards on his catch.

Mooney has failed to live up to his potential thus far but he has also had a horrible list of quarterbacks throwing him the ball. He has the traits that the Chargers typically value in receivers and would be very obtainable for a cheap price.

The former fifth-round pick is on the last year of his rookie deal and would be a 10-game rental. Because of that, the price for Mooney would likely be a late-round pick swap at most, if not just a seventh-round pick in multiple years.
