4. Dallas Cowboys

CeeDee Lamb, Brandin Cooks, Michael Gallup

The two through four slots in this ranking were tough to decide as all three teams have strong top receivers from one through three on their depth charts. The No. 4 receiving corp on this list that the Chargers will face is the Dallas Cowboys.

CeeDee Lamb has cemented himself as a high-end No. 1 receiver. Lamb had a career season in 2022 with new highs in receptions (107), yards (1,359), and touchdowns (9). Lamb produced 5th best in receptions and 6th best in yards and touchdowns in his 2022 campaign and has constantly continued to improve season by season since he came into the league in 2020.

Last year the Cowboys didn't have much help for Lamb, but this year they gave him some much-needed assistance by bringing in veteran receiver Brandin Cooks. Cooks has produced 1,000+ receiving yards in 6 out of his 9 seasons in the league while playing for four different teams. The veteran has had to be the top target for the Texans over the past three seasons and will be taking a much more exciting role, playing with quarterback Dak Prescott and having a top receiver ahead of him in Lamb. Cooks can be a game-changer for the Dallas offense this season.

The biggest what-if in this receiving corp will be that of Michael Gallup. Gallup had a breakout season in 2019 producing a career high 1,107 yards and 6 touchdowns, but over his last two seasons Gallup hasn't eclipsed 450 yards and has scored 2 and 4 touchdowns. If Gallup can have a bounce back year coming off of an injury, this receiving corp can fight to be one of the top in the league this upcoming season with the ever growing play of Lamb and consistency of Cooks.
