Jim Harbaugh shows off infectious personality in new Chargers Mic'd Up video
A 27-17 win over the Titans to send the Chargers to 6-3 was enough to get fans excited in and of itself. But Los Angeles' social media team had another treat in store for the fans this week with a nearly 10 minute long video of HC Jim Harbaugh "Mic'd Up" on gameday.
In the first 20 seconds of the video, Harbaugh's gameday intensity pops off of the screen almost immediately. While wearing gloves and letting the Bolts' quarterbacks throw passes to him pregame, he had a rather colorful response to dropping a pass from Justin Herbert:
"Balls are coming out good, I suck today," Harbaugh says as he wraps up the session following the dropped pass. He also throws in a "spinning good Justin!" in praise of his star quarterback.
Prior to a 4th and 1 near the goal line down 7-6, Harbaugh and Herbert discussed how they would plan they next play:
"I think we should run it," Harbaugh says. Herbert buys into the idea as he replies, "100%, 100%." In a huddle with QBs coach Shane Day and Herbert seconds later, Harbaugh presents the idea of pretending to drawing up a pass in their huddle as to confuse the other sideline. Herbert proceeds to roll out to his right on the play as if he was going to throw before tucking the ball and scoring a touchdown with his legs.

Harbaugh loudly exclaims, "That's a beast, beast mode baby!" after the rushing touchdown is scored. "My guy! That's my guy!", Harbaugh shouts at Herbert as he returns to the sideline.
After a Herbert fumble was overturned before halftime, Harbaugh can be seen talking up Herbert to one of the referees on the sideline. "That Herbert, he has incredible strength to hold onto that ball. Unbelievable." The ref nodded in agreement. Harbaugh is then interrupted by the ref agreeing with him in his next sentence where he says a "lesser man" than Herbert would've fumbled. He then shakes another refs' hand for getting the call right as he continues to talk up his quarterback's hand size and strength.
After a Herbert touchdown pass to Quentin Johnston later in the game, Harbaugh can be seen going up to each individual player who blocked on the play and complimenting their "good pass pro".
After the game, Harbaugh's people person instincts were still in play for members of the opposing team. He caught up with former Michigan EDGE Jaylen Harrell after the game and took a picture with his former player. He also told Titans' head coach Brian Callahan to "say hello" to his father Bill Callahan for him. Harbaugh got his first NFL coaching job as QBs coach of the Raiders when Callahan was their head coach.
Harbaugh's zaniness and grit will be on full display in primetime as the Chargers take on the Bengals on Sunday Night Football this week. It's probably a safe bet that we'll get more gems and Harbaughisms from that game.
