Every draft pick the LA Chargers have in the 2025 NFL Draft

The NFL Draft is an instrumental tool for roster building that the LA Chargers have been inconsistent in utilizing. The results were fantastic under new GM Joe Hortiz in 2024 but before that, former GM Tom Telesco had more whiffs than hits, especially outside the first round.

Chargers fans have real confidence in this front office with Hortiz calling the shots. The Chargers put together one of their most well-rounded draft classes in 2024 to help propel the team into the NFL Playoffs.

If the Chargers can accomplish the same thing in 2025, especially with more resources outside of the draft, then the team could propel itself into true Super Bowl contention. After all, the Chargers have plenty of resources to utilize.

*Estimated compensatory selection. Compensatory picks are not yet official and exact order is an estimation. This article will be updated to reflect compensatory picks when they are announced in early March.

The Chargers are slated to have 11 picks in the 2025 NFL Draft. In addition to not knowing the exact placement of the compensatory picks, it also is not known which seventh-round pick the Chargers are going to hold in the draft.

Los Angeles essentially swapped sixth and seventh-round picks with the New England Patriots in the 2023 J.C. Jackson trade, hence why the team has New England's sixth-round pick (which is more valuable being at the top of that round). While we know the Chargers are getting the Patriots' pick, we do not know which pick the Chargers are giving back to the Patriots.

The Bolts also traded Dustin Hopkins to the Cleveland Browns for a seventh-round pick. That pick could either be the Browns' seventh-round pick or the Vikings' seventh-round pick, both of which Cleveland owns. Therefore, the Chargers own one of the following selections in the seventh round:

  • 220th (originally Cleveland's)
  • 240th (originally LA's)
  • 242nd (originally Minnesota's)

Cleveland also traded a seventh-round pick to the Chicago Bears; meaning whichever pick the Chargers didn't receive between Cleveland and Minnesota, the Bears will receive the other.
