Omarion Hampton hasn't even played a snap for the LA Chargers and he is already going viral in the NFL world. The No. 22 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft met with his new team over the weekend and one picture in particular had fans buzzing.

The photo was really quite simple. Mia Jones of the Chargers followed Hampton and put together a photo collection around his first day on the job with the Chargers. The sixth photo in the collection, which you can find here, showed Hampton shaking Jim Harbaugh's hand outside of the training facility.

Hampton is a big athlete and the perspective of the photo made it seem as if he was towering over Harbaugh. Harbaugh legitimately looked like a child in the photo, prompting a viral reaction over how big the new Chargers running back is.

This reaction reached the desk of general manager Joe Hortiz, who was asked about the viral photo during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show.

As seen in the clip above, the towering photo of Hampton really was an optical illusion as a different photo of Hampton and Harbaugh clearly showed the running back being shorter than his head coach. That second photo did not go viral on social media, and it's not hard to see why.

Hampton can officially check his first viral moment as an NFL player off the bucket list and he didn't even have to play a game to do so. It likely won't be the first time Hampton goes viral, as his violent style of play is going to inevitably cause a highlight moment that goes viral.

The former UNC running back may not be as big as that one picture depicted, but he is no small human being. He is a mean, physical, six-foot running back who is going to bowl over opposing defenders as if they are on the playground.

Knowing the Chargers' excellent social media team, this viral photo will resurface during the season once Hampton runs over his first defender. Instead of Harbaugh being in the picture looking tiny, it will be whatever defender becomes Hampton's victim.
