Chargers NFL Draft Visits Tracker: Live updates on prospects the team has met with

The Chargers are using top-30 visits to meet some of the 2026 draft prospects. Historically, Joe Hortiz and Jim Harbaugh have used official visits to get to know the player better if they have questions. 

Checking a player's medicals and evaluating their character are two key parts of it. At his press conference before the draft last year, Hortiz used Joe Alt as an example of a player who didn't come on a visit because they didn't need him to.

So does a 30-visit mean a player is getting drafted by that team? No, but it means the Chargers want more information. Linebacker Junior Colson is the only 30-visit player the Chargers drafted under Hortiz/Harbaugh back in 2024. But the information obtained is also useful outside of just the players that were drafted. Current Packers tight end McCallan Castles signed with the Chargers' practice squad in the 2024 season after going undrafted. He was one of the team's 30 visits that year.
