The LA Chargers offense struggled mightily without Ladd McConkey in the first half against the Kansas City Chiefs. Unfortunately, things would only get worse for the Chargers as Justin Herbert suffered what appeared to be a lower-body injury and left the game.

Herbert rolled right outside the pocket and was hit hard after he threw a deep pass to Quentin Johnston. The former Oregon Duck connected with Johnston but the play was negated by a holding call on Joe Alt.

Herbert was seen gripping his knee as the training staff examined his lower body. Herbert would walk off the field under his own power.
