Former LA Chargers Breiden Fehoko and Kyle Van Noy kickstarted a social-media feud that nobody saw coming on Thursday. Fehoko and Van Noy shared a locker room in 2022 and don't appear to be very fond of each other years after they played together.
It all started with another former Chargers defensive player who didn't share a locker room with the two, Quentin Jammer. Jammer put out feelers for a podcast appearance so he could "fry" Fehoko, to which Van Noy responded with the popular GIF of Jack Nicholson nodding.
This upset Fehoko, who has become a constant staple of Chargers social media after his playing days. Fehoko didn't hold any punches with Van Noy, calling him a fake teammate who only cared about his contract incentives in 2022.

Breiden Fehoko blasts former Chargers teammate Kyle Van Noy
It didn't stop there. In one response to an X user, Fehoko called Van Noy a "locker room cancer [that] wished demise on the guys playing in front of him". Fehoko was referencing Joey Bosa, who started alongside Khalil Mack on the edge in 2022.
Fehoko said in another post that Van Noy was only hunting sacks and didn't play any defense. And if that wasn't enough, Fehoko also claims that Van Noy came to him privately to stop defending Justin Herbert against Emmanuel Acho as Van Noy was about to launch his media career.
It's unclear how Fehoko defending Herbert had an impact on Van Noy potentially launching his media career, but Fehoko alleges there was a private conversation.
Van Noy's responses to Fehoko was made in jest. They include a request to keep him out of it, as well as a GIF sent to Fehoko that says I love you.

Van Noy played all 17 games with the Chargers in 2022 and finished the season with five sacks. He notably recorded a sack in the final five games of the year to earn a new contract from the Baltimore Ravens. Van Noy continues to play and was a Pro Bowler in 2024.
Fehoko spent the better part of three years with the Chargers from 2020 through 2022, mostly as a practice squad player. He appeared in 19 total games, nine of which came in 2022 when he shared a locker room with Van Noy. He played 103 total snaps in his NFL career, recording 36 total tackles with no sacks.
