LA Chargers: One dream addition from each NFC West team
By Jason Reed
San Francisco 49ers: Nick Bosa
Just like with Aaron Donald, adding San Francisco 49ers‘ edge rusher Nick Bosa to the LA Chargers’ defensive line would create significant problems for opposing offensive lines. Teams simply would not have an answer for the Bosa brothers and it would be a great story to see the two brothers tearing it up side-by-side.
It would definitely make them the most popular pass-rushing brothers in the league, overtaking the current recipients of that award, JJ and TJ Watt.
The one drawback of bringing Bosa over to the Chargers would be his injury history. Joey Bosa definitely has some injury history of his own but not to the extent of his brother. Nick only played two games last season after tearing his ACL in Week 2.
His injury history also extends to college as well. Bosa only played three games in 2018 with Ohio State after suffering an injury and then pulling out for the rest of the year to focus on the draft.
With the LA Chargers’ injury luck, Nick would wind up only playing five games with the Chargers. But regardless, the force that he would create alongside his brother would be truly special and would nearly have the impact that Donald would have.
