Los Angeles Rams: Aaron Donald

This might seem like a foregone conclusion but you definitely could make the case for not taking Aaron Donald. The Los Angeles Rams also have one of the best cornerbacks in Jalen Ramsey, who would have a massive impact on the secondary and create one of the scariest secondary duos with Derwin James.

However, the idea of Donald in this defense is so intriguing. Just imagine Donald playing defensive end in a 3-4 defense with Joey Bosa also rushing the passer. Teams would have no chance with Donald and Bosa on the same defensive line and the Bolts could even get creative and put Donald next to Bosa, creating even bigger nightmares.

There would be no such thing as a two-on-one blocking scheme as it would open up too much for the other guy. Unless you have an elite offensive line you would get punished by this defense. Donald has that kind of impact and quite frankly, adding him alone would probably give the Chargers the best defense in the league.

Donald is entering the part of his career where he will likely start to see some regression but he has been the best player in the league over the last half-decade and arguably had the best season of his career in 2020.

It would be a truly special thing to watch but unfortunately, he is locked up under contract for too long.
