Jacksonville Jaguars: Josh Allen
Last year’s choice: D.J. Chark
Trevor Lawrence is going to be a stud but the LA Chargers do not need him. Myles Jack is a solid linebacker but the Chargers could get help elsewhere. Tim Tebow is a hilarious story, but c’mon, he probably wont even make the Jacksonville Jaguars‘ roster.
Instead, the one player from the Jaguars that would be really intriguing to see on the Chargers is Josh Allen. Allen, not the quarterback, is entering his third year in the league and has a ton of potential to be one of the best outside linebackers in the league.
Allen would fit perfectly on the Chargers. The Chargers could use another outside linebacker and having Joey Bosa at defensive end with Allen and Uchenna Nwosu as the outside backers would be sweet to see.
Allen was a Pro Bowler in his first season as he recorded 12 sacks. Allen got hurt in 2020 but was on pace for similar numbers in about half a season. The sky is the limit for the former first-round pick as he enters his third season and with the Jaguars getting a bigger spotlight, Allen may get the credit he deserves.
He would not be the first Josh Allen to truly break out on the national scene in his third season in the league.
