Indianapolis Colts: Quenton Nelson

Last year’s choice: Quenton Nelson

We can do this series for the next decade and as long as Quenton Nelson is on the Indianapolis Colts he will be the selection. Everyone knew that Nelson was going to be a home run in the NFL when he was drafted in the 2019 NFL Draft and he has been just that. He is the best pick of the 2019 NFL Draft and it is not even close.

Nelson is already arguably the best guard in the league and he has only been in the league two years. He has made the Pro Bowl and has been named an All-Pro in both seasons and is showing no signs of slowing down.

Nelson is simply special. He is the most technically sound guard you will ever see with strength that some of the best tackles in the league do not even have. He protects his quarterback and creates holes big enough for semi trucks to drive through for his running backs.

It does not get better than Nelson and even with a revamped offensive line there is room for him on the Chargers. In fact, Nelson might just be the one player from any NFL team that I would add to the Chargers if given the chance.

He would slide in at left guard and complete this offensive line so perfectly. No offense to Oday Aboushi, but Nelson is far better.
