Baltimore Ravens: Marlon Humphrey

Last year’s choice: Marquise Brown

There really is only one choice on the Baltimore Ravens and that is Marlon Humphrey. Yes, the Ravens have a former MVP at quarterback in Lamar Jackson who is still incredibly young and incredibly talented but the Chargers do not need a quarterback. They have Justin Herbert.

Plus, if we did not pick Lamar last season why would we pick him this season after we know what Herbert is now that he is a Charger?

Humphrey is such an easy pick to make as he is such a fantastic player. He has been a Pro Bowler in each of the last two seasons and was even named an All-Pro in 2019. Better yet, he is still very young and is not going to regress any time soon.

This would really bolster the Chargers’ secondary and make the cornerback position one of the best in the league. While Charger fans should feel comfortable with Michael Davis and the steps he is making, he has not proven yet to be a true CB1 and Humphrey would give the Chargers just that.

A quartet of Humphrey, Davis, Asante Samuel Jr and Chris Harris to move all-around the defense would be really fun to watch. Davis’ speed as well as Samuel’s versatility to play both out wide and in the slot would make this a versatile group that would be extremely hard to plan for.

The Chargers could do so many things with this secondary and it would really just take adding a true CB1 like Humphrey into the mix. He is one of the best in the league and it is hard to deny him as the choice.
