1. Tom Brady

Tom Brady is not just the greatest quarterback of all time, he is not just the greatest football player of all time, but he is arguably the greatest GOAT of all time. There are plenty of GOATs in their respective sports; Michael Jordan, Babe Ruth, Wayne Gretzky, Muhammad Ali, Tiger Woods, Serena Williams… Brady is better than them all.

I mean, c’mon. Brady has more Super Bowl rings on his hand than any other FRANCHISE has. That is just bewildering.

When it comes to the quarterback rankings after 2021, Herbert will officially surpass the GOAT as he is hopefully on his way to multiple championships as well. Brady checked in sixth in our quarterback rankings from the end of last season, which is a fair place to put him.

While Brady was getting doubted during the season for his age and not being the same quarterback, he still put together one of the best seasons of his career and obviously had enough in his gas tank to lead his team to the Super Bowl.

Sure, he had a lot of help along the way, but this roster is not painfully different from the roster that went 7-9 with Jameis Winston. Brady was solid and deserved to check in ahead of Herbert, however, as both quarterbacks get one year older the advantage is going to swing in Herbert’s favor.
