LA Chargers dream offensive coaches:

Quarterbacks coach: Drew Brees

Drew Brees is one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. Most of his greatness came with the New Orleans Saints but he is still obviously a savvy quarterback who knows a thing or two about being great.

Just imagine Justin Herbert will the guidance of Philip Rivers, Dan Fouts and Drew Brees. That would be special.

Running backs coach: LaDainian Tomlinson

I mean, come on. LT was in the running for head coach because of his infectious personality but Rivers does appear to be a better overall leader as a former quarterback. One of the greatest running backs of all time would be extremely overqualified as a running backs coach.

Tight ends coach: Antonio Gates

Once again, one of the greatest tight ends of all time would be overqualified to be a tight ends coach. Gates is not only one of the greatest tight ends of all time but he also revolutionized the position for the next generation.

The former basketball player who was an undrafted free agent was a pioneer in being a vertical threat tight end and showcases that elite athleticism can go a long way in the right system.

Offensive line coach: Ron Mix

Arguably the greatest offensive lineman in Chargers history, Ron Mix would be the most qualified person for the job. He is not necessarily on the best terms with the Chargers franchise but he is still a nine-time All-Pro and Hall of Famer.
