Rashawn Slater gets picked just before the LA Chargers at 13

11. New York Giants: Rashawn Slater, OT, Northwestern

The New York Giants could go receiver here but they signed Kenny Golladay and they need help protecting Daniel Jones. This is a make-or-break year for Jones and if he is terrible yet again then New York will probably look somewhere else at quarterback.

The Giants are fine at tackle but they get a prospect in Slater who can move all around the offensive line, including tackle if needed. The Giants have to come up against Chase Young twice a year and Slater held his own against Young in 2019 when the two faced off.

And if it does not work with Jones then at least the team has someone to help protect the next quarterback.

12. Philadelphia Eagles: Devonta Smith, WR, Alabama

The Eagles cannot pass on the Heisman Trophy winner with the 12th overall pick and add another weapon for Jalen Hurts. Smith and Jalen Reagor is a promising receiving duo and if Hurts is going to be good then he better succeed with the weapons that he has.

The bigger need for the Eagles is the cornerback position but with the top two corners already taken, the Eagles smartly go with Smith instead of reaching for Caleb Farley.
