The LA Chargers are not impacted much by picks 3 and 4

3. San Francisco 49ers: Mac Jones, QB, Alabama

Goodness would this be a massive mistake by the San Francisco 49ers. I have Mac Jones as the fifth-best quarterback in this draft class and quite frankly I think his ceiling is lower than what the team already has in Jimmy Garoppolo.

Quite frankly, I think Jimmy G is getting extremely underrated in this entire process and the 49ers’ desire to even move up for a QB does not make a lot of sense to me. Sure, he is injury prone, but this is a title-worthy roster that does not need to bring in a young QB.

They just made the Super Bowl last year and were a Patrick Mahomes pass to Tyreek Hill away from winning the game with Jimmy G. It doesn’t make sense to me and taking Mac Jones does not make sense, but that is where all the signs are pointing.

Justin Fields (my QB2) is getting dissected and Trey Lance does not fit what Kyle Shanahan has done recently with his offense.

4. Atlanta Falcons: Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida

The Atlanta Falcons do not need a quarterback either as Matt Ryan was still fine last season and new head coach Arthur Smith should fix a lot of the problems the team had. The Falcons were not as bad as you think last season and they are a good draft away from being the surprise playoff team of the NFC. I am serious.

Take the unguardable Kyle Pitts to get Matt Ryan another weapon and go full air-raid. The NFC South is weak and there is no point in rebooting and passing on a prospect like Pitts for a developmental quarterback that will sit.
