3. Hamilcar Rashed Jr, EDGE

Hamiclar Rashed Jr. is a late-round draft target for the LA Chargers and probably will not shoot up the draft boards with one good showing in the Senior Bowl. However, he can make the Bolts feels much better about potentially taking him in the fifth or sixth round with a good showing.

Rashed is someone who becomes more likely if the Chargers transition to a 3-4 defense as they lack depth at the outside linebacker position. If the Chargers remain in a 4-3 defense then I would be really hard-pressed to see him drafted, albeit he would not be as bad transitioning to a defensive edge as some other OLB prospects.

Rashed is as raw as you would expect a late-round draft prospect to be but his athleticism alone is something to get very excited about. If Rashed could improve on his footwork and technique he could really blossom into a pass-rushing outside linebacker with the athleticism to drop into coverage.

The Chargers should not be drafted Rashed to start for the team in 2020 but he would be a good pickup to build depth at the position and potentially start for the Bolts. This is the kind of selection I could see the team making in the sixth round if they signed Leonard Floyd to follow Staley to the Chargers.

There really is not anywhere to go but up for Rashed, so I would keep an eye out for the Oregon State Beaver.
