LA Chargers: Getting to know the New England Patriots

New England Patriots’ Recent Performances
After starting the season 2-5, the New England Patriots have won three out of their last four games. In Week 9, the Patriots came back from a double-digit deficit in the fourth quarter to defeat the New York Jets 30-27.
Jakobi Meyers had an amazing game as he brought in 12 receptions for 169 yards. Cam Newton ran for two scores including the game-tying score late in the game. Nick Folk was successful on all three of his field-goal attempts, including the game-winner.
In Week 10, the Patriots defeated the Baltimore Ravens 23-17. Rex Burkhead caught two touchdowns with Cam Newton and Jakobi Meyers each throwing one. Newton also added a touchdown on the ground. The Patriots defense was able to hold Lamar Jackson and the Ravens scoreless in the fourth quarter and held on for the win.
The Houston Texans defeated the Patriots 27-20 in Week 11. Cam Newton threw for 365 yards and a touchdown but was unable to score a game-tying touchdown late in the fourth quarter as they turned it over on downs with just over one minute left.
The Patriots got the ball back with under 10 seconds left. Newton threw up a Hail Mary which was caught by Ryan Izzo at the 12-yard line but time had already expired, giving the Patriots their sixth loss of the season.
They defeated the Arizona Cardinals this past week 20-17. The Patriots defense was able to contain Kyler Murray as he only threw for 170 passing yards and an interception while holding him to 31 yards on the ground. Neither offense was able to get anything going as the Patriots tallied 179 total yards on the day with the Cardinals getting 298.
Newton only threw for 84 yards on 18 attempts with two interceptions. James White scored both of the Patriots touchdowns while Nick Folk added two field goals including a 50-yard game-winner to put their record at 5-6 heading into Week 13.
