LA Chargers: Getting to know the Week 12 opponent, the Buffalo Bills

The LA Chargers will be traveling to Buffalo to take on the Bills in a Week 12 matchup.

The LA Chargers finally got back on track after beating the New York Jets 34-28. Justin Herbert and the offense put on another incredible performance. Herbert threw for 366 yards and three touchdowns with a 116.5 passer rating. Keenan Allen set a new career-high and broke the Chargers’ single-game receptions record as well.

He brought in 16 of 19 targets for 145 yards and a touchdown. Mike Williams and Hunter Henry caught one receiving touchdown each as the Chargers were able to pick up their third win of the season.

Joe Flacco and the Jets’ offense started rolling in the second half as they were able to get back into the game by taking shots down the field. Flacco connected on a few deep throws including a 49-yard touchdown to Breshad Perriman, as well as drawing multiple penalties committed by the Charger’s secondary.

In the end, the Chargers defense was able to get a stop when they needed to and held on to win.

Last Five Matchups

The Chargers have dominated this matchup over the last five meetings as they have won four straight. These two teams last met during the 2018 season where the Chargers won 31-20. Philip Rivers threw for 256 yards and three touchdowns with Melvin Gordon being on the receiving end of two of them.

The Chargers defense was able to sack Josh Allen five times on the day with Melvin Ingram leading the team with 1.5.
