The LA Chargers will take on the New York Jets in their Week 11 matchup.

The LA Chargers had their worst performances by far this past weekend after losing to the Miami Dolphins, 29-21. While it was another loss by one possession, the Chargers were dominated in every aspect of the game.

Their offense had their worst performance since Week 1 as they tallied under 300 yards and barely scraped together 21 points. The defense put on another pathetic performance, missing numerous tackles, not getting any pressure and allowing an undrafted free agent to run for 85 yards and a touchdown.

The special teams continues to be one of the worst in the NFL as they allowed a blocked punt, had numerous pre-snap penalties and allowed Jakeem Grant to average 19 yards per punt return. They will take on the winless New York Jets this week.

The Chargers and Jets come into this matchup with a combined 2-16 record. Both of these teams are just horrible. The Chargers are definitely a more talented team than the Jets, but with how this season has gone, I would not be surprised if this was like the game against the Cleveland Browns in 2016.

Last Five Matchups

The Chargers have won three straight meetings against the Jets with the Jets’ last win coming in 2011. The last time these two teams played came in the 2017 season. The Chargers ended up winning this low scoring game 14-7.

Philip Rivers threw for 290 yards and threw a touchdown to Antonio Gates, while Melvin Gordon ran one in from one yard out. The Jets ran for 197 yards on offense but struggled as Bryce Petty was held to under 120 passing yards for the game.
