Sit Hunter Henry

Tight end is the thinnest fantasy football position there is so you might have no other chance than to start Hunter Henry this week (I fall in that boat). However, if given a decision between two decent tight ends, I would go away from Henry and stay away from him altogether this week, daily fantasy as well.

Henry just has not really been that impactful in the passing game this season. He started the season off really solid with a combined 156 receiving yards on 11 receptions through two weeks. Since then, he has one 50-yard game and four games under 40 yards, albeit he did score a touchdown in Week 5.

The Chargers have just been spreading the ball around too much and have turned to contributions from guys like Guyton, Donald Parham and even Virgil Green. Green is still out with an injury but that is not going to increase the target share for Henry.

There is a chance that he gets a red zone target and scores a touchdown, which instantly makes it worth putting him in the starting lineup. However, the chances of that happening are simply too slim and it would be smarter to play a tight end that is more involved in his team’s offensive gameplan.

Next. Getting to know the Las Vegas Raiders

I expect more of the same from Henry this week. He will tally 3-5 receptions for 36-50 yards. He needs that touchdown to really put him over the edge and I am not sure that he gets it.
