The LA Chargers take on the New Orleans Saints in Week 5 of the 2020 NFL season.

The LA Chargers have their first primetime game of the season in Week 5 as the team squares off against the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football.

This is the second leg of what is the toughest back-to-back stretch of the season as the team has to play both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints on the road. The Chargers nearly pulled off the victory against the Bucs and are hoping to complete the job against the Saints to avoid a 1-4 record.

As we do every week, here is the complete roster breakdown for both teams.

Special teams: Advantage, New Orleans Saints

Michael Badgley is really an interesting case for the LA Chargers. He is money on close kicks but Anthony Lynn does not seem to trust him from deep. He made his second-career field goal of over 50 yards in Week 4 but then missed a 47-yarder later in the game.

Meanwhile, Wil Lutz is one of the best kickers in the league and has continued to do his thing this season. He has made every single kick he has attempted — six field goals and 15 extra-points.

Ty Long has proven to be a really good punter for the Chargers this season but the Saints also have one of the best in the league in Thomas Morstead. Deonte Harris and Joe Reed are a wash and the Saints also have Taysom Hill on special teams to make big plays.

The Chargers have actually been really good on special teams this season (which is a surprise). However, the Saints still get the advantage.
