1. Atlanta Falcons

The ideal situation for the LA Chargers is to trade King to a team in the NFC. That way, it is not something that can hurt the team later in the season in standings or in the playoffs. How bad would it look to trade King to an AFC playoff team and see him get a game-winning interception?

This destination fits that billing for the LA Chargers, although the team does host the Atlanta Falcons later in the season, which would create some compelling storylines. As for the team itself, Atlanta is a team that should be searching for someone like King.

The Falcons played two really good offensive teams in the Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys and dropped both games, allowing a combined 78 points while scoring 64 points. Only three teams have scored more than the Falcons through two games but they are winless.

The defense is atrocious in Atlanta and they really need help in the secondary. King is not someone like Jalen Ramsey or Jamal Adams that is going to completely change things, but he is someone that the Falcons could get for a fourth-round pick or so and instantly bolster the defense.

King would play almost every snap whether at cornerback or at safety as the Falcons need help at both positions.
