LA Chargers 2020 opponent preview: Jacksonville Jaguars

How the LA Chargers can beat the Jacksonville Jaguars: Just show up, stay healthy and don’t make any mistakes
Not only do the LA Chargers have a better all-around roster than the Jacksonville Jaguars, but they match up really well against Jacksonville as well. This secondary is going to terrorize Gardner Minshew and as long as the team is healthy and does not make any boneheaded mistakes (which as we know, is possible) then this should be an easy win.
Limit the defensive mistakes and don’t commit any costly turnovers. As long as they do that, this offense should be able to score 28+ while the defense holds the Jaguars to 14 points or fewer.
While the Chargers match up nicely against Jacksonville and have a better roster, I do think that the Jaguars are getting too overlooked this season. They have a decent offensive line with some new additions, Minshew looked good at times last season and they have weapons for him to throw to.

If Leonard Fournette can get back in form then they have an offense that can score some points. Mix in the most reliable kicker in the league over the last three years, former Charger Josh Lambo, and this is a team that can score points.
The defense is not great but they have some exciting pieces and some young pieces that could surprise and over-exceed. Frankly put, I do not think the Jaguars are going to be the worst team in the league next season, even if Pro Football Focus ranks their roster as dead last in the NFL.
I think the Washington Redskins are going to be the worst team in the league in 2020, despite Ron Rivera being a great head coach. Either way, this is a very winnable game for the LA Chargers.
