Tyrod Taylor’s record vs. the AFC West:

Although Taylor has never played the Buffalo Bills, there are a lot of AFC East games to look at because of his tenure in Buffalo.

Tyrod Taylor’s lifetime record vs. the Miami Dolphins: 4-2

Taylor has taken advantage of the Dolphins being pretty bad for most of his career and has a solid 4-2 record against Miami in his career. He has had two really good showings against Miami, one in a win and one in defeat.

The winning effort saw Taylor complete 21 of 29 passes for 277 yards and three touchdowns in a 41-14 routing in 2015. The losing effort saw Taylor complete 26 of 29 passes for 329 yards and three touchdowns on top of 60 rushing yards in 2016.

Tyrod Taylor’s lifetime record vs. the New England Patriots: 1-5

I mean, this is not that surprising. The Patriots have dominated the AFC East for two decades and you cannot blame Taylor much for this one.

The one win he does have over the Pats came in 2016 and it was mostly due to the defense. The Bills won that game 16-0 behind 246-yard, one-touchdown showing from Taylor. Taylor only has one game in his career with more than one interception thrown and it was against the Patriots in 2015, when he threw three.

Tyrod Taylor’s lifetime record vs. the New York Jets: 4-2

Outside of the Patriots, Taylor has had some success against the AFC East. Taylor is 4-2 against the Jets and two of the wins were a 22-17 scoreline with another win being a 21-17 scoreline. The fourth win that Taylor has over the Jets was a 21-12 win.

His best game against the Jets ironically came in a loss. In 2016, Taylor racked up 297 passing yards and three touchdowns in a 37-31 loss.
