The LA Chargers open the 2020 season against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The 2020 season is fast approaching and if everything goes as planned, we will hopefully see the LA Chargers in action with no limitations other than there not being any fans in attendance. It is a weird reality for the 2020 season, but most football fans would agree that they would rather have football with no fans than no football altogether.

Of course, this is a developing situation in the United States that literally changes with every given day, so who knows if the season does start on time.

We are in the optimistic camp that thinks it will start on time and with that in mind, we have decided to breakdown each of the LA Chargers’ opponents in 2020, starting with the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Chargers start the season on the road against the Bengals, who were the worst team in the NFL last season. Both teams are undergoing massive changes, as both the Bengals and Chargers selected quarterbacks early in the first round.

Unlike the Bengals, though, Justin Herbert is likely not going to start this game and if everything goes as planned, it will be Tyrod Taylor under center.

Taking some inspiration from our FanSided sister site, Just Blog Baby, here is our breakdown of the Cincinnati Bengals and how the Chargers can win this game, first starting with the Bengals key additions and subtractions from the offseason.
