LA Chargers things to watch for on ‘Hard Knocks’: Keenan Allen, Derwin James and Joey Bosa

In terms of just pure entertainment that does not have a storyline woven into it, the trio of Keenan Allen, Derwin James and Joey Bosa is absolutely going to be the most fun to watch.

I would go out on a limb and say that these are the three biggest current fan-favorites on the LA Chargers and it is not only for their elite performance on the field, but for their personalities off the field as well.

Both Allen and James have the playful and eccentric personalities that connect with the modern-day football fan. James, in particular, has been in the spotlight this offseason for dominating his NFL peers in Madden, something that hopefully will translate to the regular season.

Bosa is probably the funniest of the three, though. Every time Bosa has been mic’d up in his NFL career he has provided memorable moments. He has a sense of dry humor and wit to him that you would not expect from him, but is absolute gold to watch.

Bosa and Allen also might have subplots in this series as well. Both guys are entering into the last year of their contracts with the Chargers and it will be interesting to see if that finds its way into the show in some capacity.

It would benefit the Chargers to extend Bosa and Allen before the season begins just to get that reassurance and perhaps those contract discussions could carry over onto our television screens.
