LA Chargers steal wide receiver Henry Ruggs III, Las Vegas Raiders

Creating the absolute perfect quarterback and wide receiver tandem, the LA Chargers are stealing one of the Raiders’ first-round picks of this past draft. Henry Ruggs can fly down the field, and pairing him with the incredibly strong-armed Justin Herbert would make for some very fun highlights at SoFi Stadium for years to come.

As many already know, Ruggs ran a blazing 4.27 40 yard dash at this year’s combine. It shot him up draft boards, and the Raiders may have reached just a bit for him, but he has the potential to torch defensive backs drive after drive.

In his junior season at the University of Alabama, Henry Ruggs put up 746 yards on just 40 catches for an astounding 18.7 yards per reception. A near explosive play every time he catches the ball? It sounds like something the Chargers could most certainly use on the offense.

As the team currently lacks true deep threat receivers who have performed against high levels of competition, Ruggs would be quite the fit in an offense that will be run by Shane Steichen from the start of the season this time around. An end-around from Henry Ruggs where he torches everyone for a 65-yard touchdown sounds like an amazing highlight-reel play to watch from him.

Henry Ruggs III would be an amazing addition to an already stacked Chargers offense, which is the exact reason he was the player to steal from the Las Vegas Raiders.
