LA Chargers steal quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs

This one couldn’t be any more obvious. The LA Chargers would be getting their quarterback for the next 15-18 years, and this move alone would make them a Super Bowl dynasty immediately.

At just 24 years old, Patrick Mahomes already has two division titles, a Super Bowl title, a Super Bowl MVP, and a league MVP on his resume. He is far and away the best quarterback in the NFL and shows the talent capable of being the best quarterback of all time someday.

Starting in 14 regular-season games last season, Mahomes lit up the league for 4,932 yards, 36 touchdowns and just seven interceptions. Swap those stats for those Philip Rivers had last season, and the Chargers would’ve been in Miami this past February. Put Mahomes on the team now, and they’ll have a strong case to be in Tampa next year.

With weapons such as Keenan Allen, Austin Ekeler, Mike Williams, Hunter Henry, and K.J. Hill, Mahomes would be looking at as stacked of an offense as he has currently been dealt in Kansas City. The kicker there? The Chargers defense looks to be incredibly stacked this upcoming season, and many feel it has the talent to be amongst the best in the league.

Patrick Mahomes has everything you could possibly want in a franchise quarterback. He may be getting an incredibly big payday very soon, but that money will be completely worth it. Much love to Justin Herbert and Tyrod Taylor, but if you can steal Patrick Mahomes away from Kansas City, you do it.
