Every AFC West team has one breakout player that the LA Chargers must worry about.

Football is a game of moving parts and every single year we see really talented players fall off the map and have bad seasons and we have players that emerge out of nowhere and become hugely impactful for their respective teams.

This is a part of everyday life for NFL teams and the LA Chargers are going to have some of these players. For example, Desmond King had a really poor season last year in pass coverage after being an All-Pro the year prior. Meanwhile, this season, we could see a disappointing rookie, such as Jerry Tillery, take that next step and be a breakout player.

Every other AFC West foe is going to have these breakout players as well and we already lightly teased who we thought the breakout player could be on each team when we did our offseason grades for every other team in the AFC West.

Today, though, we are going to be diving more in detail in why we think these players could be breakout stars for their respective teams in 2020 and how that is going to impact the LA Chargers in their six division games this season.

Without further ado, let’s get into it, starting with the defending Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs.
