The LA Chargers need a different plan for each team in the AFC West.

The AFC West is going to be really really tough this year. While you could make the case that there is only one legitimate Super Bowl contender in the Kansas City Chiefs, the AFC West could be the division with the best last-place team in the NFL.

I could legitimately see a scenario where the entire AFC West finishes 7-9 or better. It might be the Chiefs with 13+ wins and the LA Chargers, Denver Broncos and Las Vegas Raiders all with 7-9 wins, but still.

With that being said, it is safe to say that the LA Chargers are going to have some challenging division games in 2020 and the team has to be better against their division foes this season. Going 0-6 with the Raiders and Broncos having a combined 10 wins outside of their four combined wins against the Chargers is terrible.

If the Chargers want any shot at making the playoffs this season then the absolute worst they can do in the division is split them all and go 3-3. Having a winning record, especially if it is 5-1 or better, could guarantee a playoff spot with the added seventh position.

Every team is going to take a different gameplan and a lot of planning, but there should be a central focus that the team focuses on when playing each division foe.

With that in mind, here is our over-simplified plan for the LA Chargers to defeat the Broncos, Raiders and Chiefs.
