Fans potentially got a sneak peek of what the Los Angeles Chargers new jerseys could look like, as Joey Bosa has added more flame to the Chargers rumors fire that is burning in speculation.

Fans have been speculating what the new jerseys could look like, with many different people putting their graphic design skills to use and making their own renderings of what the jerseys could look like.

We even have some that people are passing on as potential leaks, with the biggest speculative jersey change being the Chargers moving to an all-grey jersey. Although that is nothing short of speculation.

The only thing we know for certain right now about the Chargers’ new jerseys is that they will be revealed on April 21. However, Bosa gave us a little bit more information to play around with.

Chargers rumors: Joey Bosa gives us a hint about the new jerseys

Joey Bosa added legitimate speculation to the jersey anticipation during his appearance on The EndZone. When asked to give a teaser about the new uniforms, Bosa actually gave fans a lot to digest.

Bosa said that the jerseys got simpler and that the Chargers removed an entire color from the colorway. However, he said that the color that was removed is now being transitioned into the color rush-version that is all that color.

Bosa followed it up by saying that true Charger fans who are following what is going on can probably deduce what the new color rush-version jersey is.

The best guess we can come up with is an all-navy version of the jerseys.

Navy has been a prominent color for the Los Angeles Chargers for quite some time. The team made navy the primary color in 1974 and it has been a staple of the franchise ever since. However, last year, the team started to make the transition back to its roots, making the powder blue jerseys the primary jerseys, not the alternates.

That gives us a hint right there as the team is already embracing the powder blue roots. The powder blue and yellow is now the team’s official re-branding and in the hype video made for the new jerseys, they focused on the iconic powder blues.

The all-navy jerseys would look nice and I would not mind it whatsoever and it completely makes sense to remove it from the primary colorway while maintaining it in the jersey rotation in some capacity.

It will be interesting to see if they go with yellow names and numbers like the current version of the color rush, which I absolutely love. If they do something along those lines then I would be more than happy with the transition.

Next. All-Decade defensive team

I will be sad to see the old color rush jerseys potentially go. While the initial signs are that the new jerseys are awesome across the board, the Chargers’ color rush is my personal favorite jersey.
