The Los Angeles Chargers are running out of time to right the ship this season and must find a way to go into Chicago and knock off the Bears in order to get to 3-5 on the season.

The injuries are a major factor again for this Chargers team this season and while it has become a tired excuse, it is tough to go into a place like Soldier Field shorthanded. That said, it seems as though Keenan Allen, who many including himself expected not to play in this game, will be active. Melvin Ingram, who has missed the past few games, will be on the field as well.

Still, the team will be without several key players including Justin Jones and Brandon Mebane, leaving the Chicago Bears, who have struggled mightily as an offense, a chance to pound the ball in the running game.

Placekicker Michael Badgley is also out again and it begs the question as to why he wasn’t just placed on injured reserve weeks ago. Instead, the team has wasted a spot on the 53-man roster waiting for him to get healthy.

In his stead, Chase McLaughlin has made five of his seven field-goal trys and all five of his extra-point attempts.
