Chargers toughest player matchups throughout 2019

Chargers vs Bears: The healthy linebackers against Tarik Cohen
Healthy linebackers may be tough to come by in this game, depending on how the trio of previously injured starters or second-string players hold up at the middle point in the season. Are Denzel Perryman, Kyzir White, and Jatavis Brown still healthy at this time? All three suffered season-ending injuries in 2018, though each is expected to have a prominent role this season. But given the history of Perryman and Brown, in particular, will Drue Tranquill be the starter in Week 8?
If so, he’ll go against Tarik Cohen, the dynamic dual-threat running back (and even an All-Pro returner) who gives defenses all kinds of trouble. Though given more attempts over his two-year career, Cohen outpaces Austin Ekeler by 395 total yards while still averaging an impressive 4.4 yards per rush and 8.7 yards per reception. And just when teams think they have him figured out:

Chargers vs Packers: Everyone against Aaron Rodgers
First off, congratulations to all Chargers and Packers fans who own a television screen, can stream on their phones, or head to a bar or restaurant to watch this game, because it’s going to be a fun one to watch. Two of the NFL’s best quarterbacks, notorious for throwing the ball all over the field, in a rematch of a 2015 clash that featured 758 passing yards. Rivers and his competitive spirit will be a nightmare for the Green Bay Packers’ secondary; unfortunately, the same is true of Rodgers and the Chargers’ defense.
