Chargers linebacker Tre Johnson giving back this Mother’s Day
By Tyler Schoon
Tre Johnson, linebacker for the Los Angeles Chargers, is looking to give back this Mother’s Day to two deserving moms who could use a little help…
Mothers everywhere deserve the best, and this year, linebacker Tre Johnson is ensuring that two moms are helped out in a big way:
I want to do something special for two moms this upcoming Mother’s Day! So if you know anyone moms that’s doing it all for their kids tag them in this and retweet this so we can spread the word!

Johnson then went on to elaborate on his previous post:
For those two moms, I will pay whatever bill that has been causing them the most stress. Moms do so much for us and it gets overlooked sometimes, so I want to show a little appreciation. Reply or quote to nominate yourself or any hardworking mom you know!

Men like him represent the best of the Chargers’ organization: family-oriented, honorable, and selfless players who exemplify what it means to have character. Much of these traits come from mothers, who are undoubtedly the strongest people in our lives. We may never be able to pay them back for raising us, but here Johnson gives a few fans the chance to send extra love their mom’s way this Mother’s Day.
Johnson logged 14.19 percent of the Chargers’ special teams snaps in 2018 after being promoted to the active roster for four games following the move of linebacker Denzel Perryman to the reserve/injured list with a knee injury. He has since been signed to a reserve/future contract to be brought back for a second season with the team.
