Los Angeles Chargers could get Hunter Henry back on the field in time for the playoffs.

This team is getting healthy at the right time. Melvin Gordon will likely be back on the field this weekend. We should see Austin Ekeler and Keenan Allen back on the field soon and the chances of seeing Hunter Henry for the first time this season is increasing! I am sure this will be a surprise to Stephen A Smith since he has thought that Hunter has had a tremendous season this year!

Anthony Lynn said don’t be surprised if Hunter Henry plays this season. The plan is for him to work on the side during practices #Chargers

Are you kidding me?! We could add another offensive weapon onto the roster to head right into the playoffs! It was a pretty big blow to lose Hunter in the offseason and it forced the team to make a move to sign Antonio Gates. Gates has been a great addition and has been playing on a limited basis.

Hunter would be able to add a duel threat to the field. Virgil Green‘s best asset is blocking in the run game. Antonio Gates is best as a receiver on the field. Hunter Henry can do both well and would keep defenses guessing when he was on the field.

Last week in KC, we saw Hunter doing some running on the field. He looked good and could be ready to see some time right before the playoffs. We have a couple of games left and if Hunter progresses enough, he could be on the field against the Denver Broncos to get a few reps in.

As the Chargers keep moving from team to team in the postseason, we could add fresh legs onto the field at the tight end position. Just another weapon for opposing teams to look at and something that team’s will not be able to gameplan for.

Looking forward to seeing Hunter right back on the field and making plays. What do you guys think about the news?
