Former Los Angeles Chargers doctor believes that Joey Bosa will be out until October.

I am not a doctor, but I do play one here on this blog. At least I pretend to know all the answers. We can all google how long a bone bruise in the foot takes to heal… right?!?!

Truly, I mainly find the doctors that know all the things that I don’t and just share their information with you. This time around, we will share the opinions of the Chargers former doctors.

Here is what Chargers Dr David Chao said about Bosa:

Looking like #JoeyBosa will miss more time.Best case scenario seems to be October return.Hope for the best for @Chargers star. https://t.co/zEHhg1JTR0

First thing I notice in this tweet is that Los Angeles Chargers DE Joey Bosa is in a cast. I’m waiting for that Fast and the Furious moment where Bosa flexes and the cast breaks off of his foot!

As long as they tell me that Joey Bosa will be back on the field this season, then I will be alright. I also want to know that when he gets back on the field, that he is going to dominate like he had. I need that choo choo train to be running over quarterbacks over and over again.

The expectations for Joey going into the season were high. If he is hampered by this foot throughout the year, this defense is going to be hurting as well. We can beat most teams without Joey, but we are going to need him on the field to beat teams like Kansas City. We are going to need him on the field to beat teams like the Los Angeles Rams. Will he be back int time to face the Rams? Likely not…. we still may be able to beat them with our offense though.

Our offense can carry us pretty far this year. This defense is what is going to get us into the playoffs and it is going to get us wins in the playoffs. It is on the defense that will give us a chance at the dance.

I am totally fine if Bosa is sitting on the sideline early in the year to make sure that he is in shape for the rest of the year. I just need him to be his dominating Bosa self when he gets back on the field.

Rest up.

…then dominate!
