Philip Rivers and the Los Angeles Chargers travel to Dallas to take on Dak Prescott and the Cowboys in Week 12. Chat with other Chargers fans on the open thread while watching the game.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Us Chargers fans get a special treat (excluding stuffing our faces with a plethora of treats). For the first time since 1969, the Bolts will play on Thanksgiving. Even better, the Chargers are wearing their epic powder blue jerseys. They face the Dallas Cowboys.
Both the Chargers (4-6) and Cowboys (5-5) are fighting for their playoff lives. They are also both in second place in their respective divisions. The Chargers are coming off their biggest win of the season (literally), putting up 54 points against the Bills and making rookie QB Nathan Peterman cry himself to sleep later that night. Meanwhile, the Cowboys lost their last two games.
Let’s see the inactives for today’s game:

Left tackle Russell Okung, right tackle Joseph Barksdale, wide receivers Travis Benjamin and Mike Williams, defensive tackle Corey Liuget and linebacker Hayes Pullard were all listed as questionable coming into the game, but all six players are active. Barksdale is playing after missing the past four games (only played five games all season). Having both tackles healthy is big, considering they are going up against defensive end Demarcus Lawrence, who’s tied with Jaguars’ Calais Campbell for the most sacks in the league with 10.5. Pullard, who’s been an absolute liability when on the field, is active. Playing him over Jerry Attaochu isn’t the wisest of decisions.
As for the Cowboys, starting left tackle Tyron Smith, linebacker Anthony Hitchens and kicker Dan Bailey are active. Getting Smith back is huge for the Cowboys, but he’s not at 100 percent, which bodes well for Joey Bosa, Melvin Ingram and that ferocious defensive line. Star linebacker Sean Lee is out with injury, and star running backing Ezekiel Elliott is serving his six-game suspension.
Let’s go Chargers!
