Screw Your L.A. Stadium Plan, Goodell!!!!!

Let me start by saying that I applaud Dean Spanos for standing up, and telling the NFL that they can stick their loser plan of bringing two loser teams back to the L.A. basin. They both had their shot… turned tail.. and ran. Why bring them back?

Spanos may have (somewhat) brought this upon him himself by hiring, and sticking by, Norv Turner & A.J. Smith. But, he has shown that he is committed to San Diego, by bringing in The Wolf, and getting Telesco & McCoy to turn this team around quickly… lightning speed, actually.

So, yeah yeah yeah… Qualcomm Stadium Sucks. The politicians in SD keep dragging their feet, sexually harassing their co-workers, and the taxpayers don’t want to pay for it. But, when you look at the Rams & The Raiders… don’t you feel the slightest bit of pride for this organization? They may not have a Lombardi, but have they not put a good product on the field for most of the last two decades? Everyone’s big complaint was Norv & A.J., and they are GONE. Maybe a year or two late… but, they are history. The new guys are killing it! More than the Padres ever did, and they got a brand new spanking stadium to lose in.

So, why is there no support for the Chargers?

Every L.A. station is talking about how there will be a team in L.A. (OR TWO!!!), and the Chargers are even being pressed to be one of those teams. Personally, Goodell can go “F” himself. If his total botch of the Ray Rice incident, and his pussification of the sport known as football, is not enough… now he is trying to strong-arm the Chargers to move to L.A., after not giving a thought to them before this….. As if Goodell’s “East Coast Biased” ass gives a crap about what happens in SoCal. short of more money for the NFL. He barely cares about the 49’ers. He just sees dollar signs… he doesn’t care what team they post up in L.A.

San Diego’s biggest problem is the community. I wish I could say it was the NFL, or the politicians. At the end of the day, Dean Spanos will be faced with a decision to keep the Chargers in Southern California. It could be Los Angeles, or it could be in San Diego. It might even be somewhere else. How does the St. Louis Chargers sound, eh? I guarantee the Chargers aren’t going to discontinue the franchise. But, at the end of the day… if the NFL leans hard enough on him… he WILL make that decision. So, hopefully the politics of San Diego don’t force his hand. Because, the way it looks now, nobody I have seen in power in San Diego is worth a darn. Not in public matters, or football matters. They are just greedy bastards, who can’t keep their game straight.

Who suffers? We do.

I’m not even defending the Spanos family, in the end. I am just NOT defending the politics of S.D., their choices, or the “voice” of the snobs in S.D. who don’t think that there should be a new stadium…. or a Charger team in S.D…. Those aren’t the same people I know, or care to know. I guess they are the disinterested people on the streets, who don’t matter in my life… who are just worried about their commute past the stadium on game night. I don’t know what it is, to tell you the truth… just a bunch of people arguing over things that will never be solved, while the politicians get paid, and the Chargers move to L.A.

Can we PLEASE get a new stadium? Screw L.A.!!!!!! The Raiders & Rams can POUND SAND!!!!!!

Keep Bolting Toward Excellence!
