No one ever said that it was easy being a Chargers’ fan.  Throughout the years we have suffered an inordinate amount of pain and suffering without the reward of a Lombardi trophy.  Although there have been many seasons in which the organization has met some of our hopes and expectations, they still have yet to obtain that one piece of hardware with the gleam.

This season has been devastatingly disappointing on many levels.  The last three games have have left us all bitter, frustrated, angry, and downright ticked off.

Obviously I would prefer to use some more colorful words to describe our emotions but I’ll refrain from doing so at this time.

Despite all of the fans having their own ways of expressing their feelings, we all share one thing in common.  We all love the Chargers.  Whether that be undying love, tough love, et cetera, it is love none the less.

It’s times like these that we all need to find solace in each other’s respective miseries.  We should do so while respecting the points of view and frustration levels of all fans as well.

By the time you read this I will be on a plane to San Diego.  The purpose behind this article is to continue to try and get as many fans of the Bolts united as possible.

There will be a group of 6 of us meeting for the Thursday night game against Kansas City.  I have already spoken to a couple dozen of other fans that will be attending the game as well.

What we would all like to do is get together before the game at the Murph.  Many of you will be there tailgating.  I know I will!  The obvious goal is to unite as many of us as possible.  We would also like to take a huge group picture.  Not to mention, I would like to get pictures of myself with as many Bolt faithful as possible.  This will most likely be my last trip to San Diego of this football season.

It’s times like these when we all need to come together and show our team how much we love them.  If they aren’t getting the guidance and support from upper management, management, and coaching that they need, let’s see if we can show them how much we care.  Let’s prove to them that we will always bleed blue and gold.  Let’s give them a reason to pick up their heads, and their play for that matter, and go out there and get this thing rolling.

Once the tailgating has ended let’s make sure that we all do our part by screaming our heads off and bring back some of that home field advantage to the stadium.  Let’s get LOUD!

Despite my immeasurable frustration with this team, I truly believe that we are still in this.  Winning cures everything.  Here’s to hoping that we are all celebrating a Charger win on Thursday night.

I’ll be sure to let everyone know where we’ll be before the game.  Feel free to email me at boogapeters@yahoo.com or hit me up on Twitter @BoogaP to inform us of where you’re at during the pregame.

Thanks a lot for reading and I hope to see you there.
