My name is Megan Cervantes. I am 25 years young and work as a hairstylist in Port Hueneme, CA.  I went to cosmetology school straight out of high school and got my license when I was 20. I have been back and forth doing hair and working several desk jobs through out the past few years but my love and passion in life is to make others feel beautiful. I love meeting new people which makes my job even better for me. I get to hear so many new stories and meet so many new people every day and I love it. Working so close to the Naval base allows me to get to meet people from every where. It’s just so much fun.

BoogaP: When did you first become a Charger Fan?

I’m actually a newer fan. I used to watch football as a kid with my dad but I never fell in love with team. As a So Cal girl, I of course always liked the team and always kept up with them but it wasn’t until 2007 when I was living in Hawaii that I fell head over heels in love with the San Diego Chargers.

BoogaP: Who is your favorite player that is currently on the roster?

Phillip Rivers. He is an amazing football player and human being. I love that he is such a family man.

I am also a big fan of Shaun Phillips, Malcom Floyd, Eric Weddle, Mike Tolbert, Luis Castillo and Jacob Hester. Although Tolbert left via free agency I still like him.

BoogaP: Who is your favorite player of all-time?

When I fell in love with the Chargers in 2007, I fell in love with L.T. That guy had some speed. Watching him make those big plays was an experience I will never forget.

BoogaP: I haven’t asked this in an any of my interviews but I guess it is about time that I do. Where were you when you heard about the passing of Junior Seau? I was sitting right here where I am right now at the computer.

I was actually at home getting ready for work. I was on the phone with my best friend, who grew up and lives in Oceanside and she told me. That was a sad, sad day.

BoogaP: While talking with you on Twitter, you informed me that you are dating a Raiders Fan!!!! What is it like on Chargers vs. Raiders gamedays?

Lol. Yes. My boyfriend is a Raiders fan. I think our rivalry kind of helped get our relationship started with our flirtatious bets. We talk a lot of crap to each other. It can get heated but we respect that each one is a die hard fan. It keeps it interesting. Not even just on game days. If I see someone wearing Chargers gear I always have to ask if he likes it. I love to prance around in my Chargers gear and ask him what he thinks about my new shirts. I love serving him beer in my Chargers cups. =)

BoogaP: Have you ever been to a Chargers game? If you haven’t, what team would you most like to see the Chargers play against?

I haven’t. Of course I would want to go to a Chargers vs. Raiders game. I would love to see it live.

BoogaP: What is your favorite piece of Bolts Swag that you own?

Thats a tough one. I’d have to say its my Rivers’ Jersey that my mom got me for my 21st birthday. Powder blue with the day I was born and my lucky number 17 on it. I guess that wasn’t so tough.

BoogaP: Which team in the division do you think will pose the biggest problem for the Chargers in 2012?

I would have to say the Broncos. Signing Manning was big. But I think we’ll take them. ?

BoogaP: What is your favorite moment in Chargers history?

It was watching my last Chargers game while living in Hawaii. A few co-workers and a couple of the locals and I were watching the game at the restaurant I worked at. I was a few days away from coming home to California and I had recently fallen completely in love with my Chargers. Chief’s started off ahead but we stopped them at ten and took the lead. We shut it down after the 2nd quarter and didn’t allow another point to be scored against us. It was a great game and an experience for me that I will never forget.

BoogaP: If you could go back in time and change one moment in Bolts History, what would it be and why?

Superbowl XXIX. If only we had that ring!

BoogaP: Considering both free agency and the draft, who is your favorite addition to the Chargers?

We had a lot of holes to fill this year. I’m interested to see how Meachem does to fill the gap that V. Jackson left.

BoogaP: I have predicted that the Chargers will win the Superbowl in 2012. Do you have a prediction for the Bolts season?

This is our year! Superbowl XLVII is ours baby!

BoogaP: What was your reaction when the Chargers signed L.T. to a one day contract and he retired a Charger?

It was the right thing to do! I was so happy! I was kind of hoping they would bring him back for the season and then he would retire. But the one day deal was still really cool. I love L.T.!

BoogaP: And my favorite question that I ask all interviewees, how often do you visit BoltBeat.com? And if you don’t, how often will you visit the site now? ?

I’ve been on a few times before to get my bolt news. It now has a new home on my task bar =)

This was fun. Thank you, BoogaP, for everything!Bolt Up!!!!

No Megan, thank you!
