More LA Chargers Talk. AEG has talked with team about purchasing share

I HATE anytime I have to bring this topic up. The Chargers belong in San Diego and I could care less if Los Angeles has a football team or not. They once had two, but they screwed it away.

According to the Orange County Register, Tim Lieweke has confirmed that he has spoken to the Chargers among other teams about a move to the Los Angeles area.

Leiweke also said he has spoken with officials from five NFL franchises: Minnesota, San Diego, Oakland, St. Louis and Jacksonville

“St. Louis, Jacksonville, not extensively, certainly Oakland, San Diego, Minnesota are still in the mix,” Leiweke said listing the teams AEG has met with before adding: “We’re not packing any (moving) vans right now.”

The way I read that, Jacksonville and St. Louis are still a possibility, but the main front runners are Oakland, Minnesota and our Bolts.

Those people at AEG are relentless and keep pushing through any obstacles that they come across. Where is that same movement from San Diego to keep the team here? All I have seen come through is news about how the team will save money by not having an NFL season and more discouraging information like that.

So we as Chargers fans have to deal with this stupid lockout and the possibility of our team moving to Los Angeles. FUN TIMES!
