Texans @ Chargers: CBS Recap
San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders has said Qualcomm Stadium will be ready for the Chargers-Texans game Sunday and it is up to the team and the NFL to decide on what to do.
“It depends on what the NFL wants,” said Sanders, according to the AP. “We believe it could be played, but I think the NFL and Chargers have concerns. They’re talking them out, about air quality and about taking public safety personnel off the street if this continues in the backcountry.
“They’re going through a process that we appreciate. They’re thinking about public safety and [...]
For my own personal reasons, it’s been a tough few weeks, but I’m back.
Chris Chambers: in ‘05, dude caught 82 balls for 1118 yards and 11 tds. That was his career year, and hasn’t really come close to it any years prior or since. BUT, this year he’s on pace for 83 catches for 1106 yards and 0 tds.
I don’t think 89’s going to be this big in the passing game here in SD, with LT getting his carries and Gates getting the ball thrown to him 5-10 times a game. Chambers will add more for opposing defenses to concern [...]

Chris Chambers is a San Diego Charger. This is great news, as Vincent Jackson hasn’t exactly played like a No. 1 WR this year, completely disappearing from time to time. Chambers was a Pro Bowler back in ‘05. He also has respectable stats this season, even though he hasn’t yet found the endzone. Expect that to change once he gets integrated into this offense. This move might just be enough to make the Chargers the runaway favorites in the AFC West, and possibly even Super Bowl contenders.
